The Administrative Court rejected the lawsuit filed by MP Mohammad Al-Jarrah challenging his expulsion from the Labour Party. The ruling, delivered by Judge Ziad Al-Dmour with two panel judges, confirmed the legality of the party’s decision.

The Labour Party was represented by Adv. Rateb Al-Nawaiseh, who presented evidence proving Al-Jarrah’s violations of the party’s bylaws. Based on his submissions, the court upheld the expulsion, finding the disciplinary process lawful and justified.

Al-Nawaiseh stated that the expulsion could also end Al-Jarrah’s parliamentary membership, as he was elected through the party list. He explained that holding a parliamentary seat without party affiliation violates the Political Parties and Elections Laws.

He further emphasized that the judgment sets an important judicial precedent for party accountability and supports Jordan’s ongoing efforts toward political modernization and legal reform.
